COMMISSIONING
Commissioning the oven26
Initial installation26.1
Unpack the Oven and check for damage.1
Check Oven Accessories.2
Check location will provide adequate Ventilation.3
Locate Oven onto a strong, level, non-ammable 4
Surface.
Remove panels & check all wiring and components for

security.
Ret panels.

Position the Oven with a minimum air gap of 50mm, 7
sides & rear.
Check Electrical supply and connect.

Place a container of water within the oven and switch 9
it on.
Record Model version & check against serial plate.

Record BTS (UI) version.11
Record SRB version.12
Record Serial Number & check against serial plate.13
Enter Service Mode.14
Record Voltage & Frequency.15
Record Magnetron Current Draw.16
Check for Microwave leakage.17
Record Heater current.18
Check door opening on display.19
Check lter removal on display.20
Check fan speed.21
Turn o the oven and remove the water.22
Switch on oven and run up to temperature.23
Operate Oven, Cooking a Standard Batch.24
Supply User information & contact details to Customer.25
Instruct Users with an Overview of the equipment, 26
Operation & Safety (Hazards).
Complete Service Report.

After Service26.2
Complete the following checks after the Oven has been
Serviced/Repaired/Tested before connecting to the
mains electricity power supply:
All internal electrical connections are correct (see 26.2.1
wiring diagrams).
All wiring insulation is correct and is not touching any 26.2.2
sharp edges.
All grounding connections are electrically and 26.2.3
mechanically secure.
All door safety interlocks are secure and mechanically 26.2.4
sound.
The door activates all of the door interlock switches 26.2.5
and in the correct order.
The door operation is smooth, and the arms run freely 26.2.6
in the slots.
The temperature sensor is correctly connected to the 26.2.7
SRB.
The casing is securely retted with no trapped wires.26.2.8
Before nishing a service call, recheck the following
points:
Run the Recommission tests to ensure the oven is 26.2.9
functioning correctly and the touch screen is working.
Microwave emissions are below permissible limit of 26.2.10
5mW/cm².
The power output of the oven is checked in 26.2.11
accordance with the procedure.
The oven has correct 50mm (2 inches) air gap all 26.2.12
round and 50mm (2 inches) above. Air ow should not be
restricted.
Complete the Service Report.26.2.13
